My favourite 2023 tool to organise my two multi 6-figure businesses
May 16, 2023In this blog I am going to share with you my favourite tool to manage my time. I have a lot of different tasks that I have to do, I have a team behind me, so organising all of that chaos can sometimes feel so whelming. So I am going to share with you how I personally use Asana, which is my favourite FREE tool to make sure I manage my time effectively. I schedule all of my tasks in and I make sure to continue growing my 2, 6 figure business's on a daily and weekly basis.
I created an Asana account for FREE, you can then create a new project, you can use a template, import spreadsheet or if you're just starting out I would create a blank project and give it a name. You can add it to a team if you have one. You can organise your project using lists, calendars, a board or a timeline. I prefer using a list and the calendar feature. If you head over to my YouTube channel you can watch me do this (Link Below). At this point you can change the list into a calendar if you prefer. I use calendar most of the time and I love to use it for my social media, I have a calendar for Instagram, The Facebook Groups as well as a general calendar for the team. If you check out the video I will literally show you step by step how to add all of your social media tasks to your Asana and all the features you can use to help keep you organised. Including how to assign it to someone if you have a team, add it to multiple dates using the recurring feature.
You can add all of your weekly tasks so if you're part of HBSA you know every Monday you need to fill out your Data Sheet, so you can add this to appear every Monday to remind you to do it. Asana is really really good for adding in all of your tasks and scheduling them in so they recur and help you plan your products.
If you prefer to see your tasks in a list format you can change the view to Lists and see it that way. For example if you have a product launch coming up you can use this as a project planner.
You can message people in your team if you hire a virtual assistant for example and keep everything in Asana, which is really really cool.
There is a reporting feature you can use but dont really use this, I mainly use the inbox, my tasks and the projects as my number one thing that I do.
I have a personal projects and a business projects calendar, and I add things like what do I need to clean up this week- the kitchen, what bin needs to go out on what day. It's just so handy to make sure that you are doing all the important recurring things that you need to do each week. You can share it with people like your partner, friend or family member as well.
If you want to see me give you a little tour of Asana then please watch my video using the link below for a preview of how to Asana for your business.
